April 19, 2026 is the Michigan Democratic Party’s Nominating Convention in Detroit at Huntington Place (1 Washington Blvd., Detroit, MI 48226). Candidates for important offices like the Attorney General and Secretary of State will be nominated for a spot on the November ballot. 

Who we elect this year will be the ones that we need to count on to have our backs in key moments and on key issues to our families. 

This is an opportunity to show up and flex our political muscle as the UAW, standing in solidarity with our union family across the state to elect UAW-endorsed candidates that we can count on to have our backs.
